preparing your home for roof construction

At Double L Construction, our goal is to make your roofing project as smooth and stress-free as possible. To help achieve this, we ask that you take a few steps and complete the form below, to prepare your home before our team arrives to start construction.

  1. Clear the Area: Remove any outdoor furniture, decorations, or other items that may be in the way of construction. This will give our team the space they need to work safely and efficiently.
  2. Secure Pets: Make arrangements to secure your pets during the construction process. This will ensure their safety and prevent any distractions for our team.
  3. Utilities: Notify any relevant utility companies of the upcoming construction, so they can make any necessary arrangements to shut off or redirect their services.
  4. Access: Ensure that our team has easy access to the roof, including adequate space for our equipment and materials. This may involve removing any low-hanging branches or other obstacles that could interfere with the construction process.
  5. Inform Neighbors: If you have neighbours whose fences or yards are within 20 feet of the roof, it is important to inform them and request access to their yard so that we can enter and remove any debris that might fall onto their property.
